Sad News to start 2008......

We have just received word that we have lost a classmate, Jeff Hughes. His mother found him in his home on Sunday. We have very few details at this time but his service is planned for Friday, January 25th at 2p.m. at Harvest Christian Center in Decatur with a visitation one hour prior. I would be happy to send flowers again - if you would like to contact Julie at dplumer@casscomm.com I will take donations and put them towards a nice arrangement. I will also try to get an address if you would like to mail a card. I will let you know more details as they are made available to me.

It's been almost a year.... an update

In just a few short weeks, Big Jerry, Shorty, Jelena and Jerry's son Tyler will mark the first anniversary of Jerry Lee's death. BJ forwarded copies of artwork that the family has approved for his gravestone and we wanted to share it with all of you. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers - it will be another hard holiday season for them. If you would like to send them a note I am sure they would appreciate it - jdshorty@one-eleven.net

On another sad note - Mrs. Judy McKinney our first grade teacher passed away on October 25, 2007. I believe there is still a guest book here http://www.legacy.com/news-gazette/GB/GuestbookView.aspx?PersonId=97253095 in case you want to leave a note for the family.

I hope everyone will consider sending us some updates and new photos to keep our site updated! Have a wonderful holiday season!

Fondly
Julie
