Jerry Lee will always be in our hearts

Jerry's passing saddened so many from our small class of just over 40 students. Jerry had come into our life in middle school and left a lasting smile upon our hearts. We weren't surprised to see so many came to pay their last respects. We found comfort and strength in our old friends and found the joy of being together again. Jerry, Shorty and Jelena were very touched that so many of us could come to offer them comfort.

Chad Moody has moved back to town and was gracious enough to host us after the services for a time to reconnect and reminisce. We all enjoyed seeing pictures of each other's kids and can't believe so many have teenagers getting ready to drive. Karla Sanner surprised all of us with her family picture with her SIX children ages 14-3(she was at the service but lives in Oreana now and was not able to make it down to Moweaqua for the gathering) - she took the trophy for most kids from Stacy Burge Thomas who has FIVE! Michael Gillett just had to go one better and share his picture of his one year old Granddaughter! We missed not having everyone there to share our memories and families with. We are all looking forward to our reunion this summer. I think we are more determined now to have a good turnout for our reunion than ever before. I will be posting more photos soon.

We are thinking of an early summer reunion - it has been suggested that we combine with the Class of 86 - what do you think? - email Julie at dplumer@casscomm.com with your thoughts.

I hope this website can be a place that we can send our family photos, family happenings, and address updates so that we can stay in touch with each other. Subscribe with your email below to get updates delivered to your email address. See you ALL soon!! Fondly, Julie
